OLYMPIC APATHETES

I feel it is about time that one or two of us started training for the upcoming olympics in our chosen discipine of extreme apatheticism. i myself feel i am at the top of my game but i would prefer it if we didnt bother to enter as a team.
any ideas for events that we cant be arsed with would be most appreciated.

DEAR OLD MUM

My dear old mum came back from gretna gateway with an alarming story of a supernatural encounter.
I sat and listened as she explained that she had seen a black ghost in of all places marks and spencers "i thought i was seeing things!" she said "it seemed to float past me and the next thing it was gone" "it only had a slit for its eyes".
Question why do you shop in the m&S ladies fashion dept in a burka???

Gone mad? Or faking it for the benefits?

On the wall where I work there is a series of posters reflecting the politically correct, non judgemental, equal opportunities, world village, non-prejudicial, universal acceptance ethos of any government funded organisation. It is to be expected, and no doubt right and proper. So there is a poster showing the Christian Great Commandment, another the Muslim Five Pillars of Wisdom, there’s one for the Hindu Three Pathways, and one for the Buddha’s Noble Eightfold Path. All very interesting, and possibly helpful in a sort of corporate touchy feely way (urgh, creepy).

But, without wanting to disadvantage anyone, or leave anyone out of this public service circle of love, I fail to see how the Ten Native American Indian Commandments (seriously) are more relevant than texts from another one of the twenty different faiths from Atheism to Zoroastrianism listed on the BBC religions page but there it is. This in an obscure corner of the uk that still considers a curry to be a bit “foreign”.

I feel I should rant, but apathy wins again. See you in the pub.
